EagleCast TV Features
A closer look at each part of EagleCast TV: what it's for, how it fits into an evening of viewing, and what's worth asking before you sign up.
Live TV Channels
Live channels are the part of EagleCast TV that feels most like traditional television: you pick a channel and join whatever is on. It's the natural choice for news, talk shows, live events and anything you'd rather watch as it happens than catch later.
If you're moving over from cable or satellite, this is the part that will feel most familiar. Pair it with the program guide when you want to see what's coming up before you commit to a channel.
Worth knowing
- If one channel matters more than the rest, ask us about it before you sign up.
- Live viewing relies on a steady internet connection. A wired connection or a strong Wi-Fi signal near the TV usually makes the biggest difference.
Movies & TV Series
On-demand viewing is for the evenings when you already know what you want, or you'd like to find something new without waiting for a schedule. Start a film when it suits you, or work through a series at your own pace.
We don't list individual titles on this site. If you're looking for something in particular, send us the name and we'll tell you whether it's available.
Worth knowing
- Titles can come and go over time, so check on anything you've got your heart set on.
- Phones and tablets are handy for on-demand viewing around the house; see the device notes for what to check first.
Live Sports
Sport is often the reason people go looking for a new TV service, and it's also where expectations matter most. On EagleCast TV, live sport works like any other live channel: find the broadcast and join it as it happens.
Because sports schedules shift and coverage varies between competitions, we'd rather you asked about the league, team or tournament you care about than assumed. It's a short message, and it saves a disappointing match day.
Worth knowing
- Use the program guide to check start times on the day.
- Big events put more demand on home internet connections, so it's worth testing your setup before the match starts.
Device Compatibility
Fire TV, Android TV, smart TVs, phones and computers all install and run apps in their own way. Our device notes explain what each platform runs, where to find its model and software version, and what to check before you set anything up.
Being listed isn't the same as "works on every model". Older hardware and some regional TV models have limits, which is why we ask you to check your device details first.
Worth knowing
- Keep your device's software up to date before you start.
- Note your model name and software version. You'll need both if you contact support.
Electronic Program Guide
The electronic program guide (EPG) is the on-screen schedule that shows what's on now and what's coming up next on each channel. It's the quickest way to plan an evening, check when a match starts, or see what's on later without flipping through channels.
Guide listings come from broadcasters' published schedules. When a schedule changes at the last minute, say a match runs into extra time, the guide may take a little while to catch up.
Worth knowing
- If listings look out of date, refreshing or restarting the app is usually the first thing to try.
- Times in the guide follow your device's time zone, so check the clock settings if listings look an hour off.
Customer Support
Support is there for the practical questions: which device to use, where to find a setting, what an error message means. You don't need to know the technical terms; describe what you see and we'll work from there.
The fastest way to a useful answer is to include your device model, its software version and what you were trying to do when the problem started.
Worth knowing
- Many common questions are already answered in the FAQ.
- If you saw an error message, copy it exactly or take a photo of the screen.
Have a question this page doesn't answer? The FAQ covers the most common ones, or you can contact us directly.
